The Scoop sweets cafe is in the heart of Lenox and has been in its location on Church Street since 2011.
It’s a specialty ice cream shop, serving Blondie’s Homemade made on the premises. Flavors rotate seasonally, but there is always sweet creamy deliciousness to appeal for every customer’s sweet urge. The Scoop also carries other favorite flavors of Gifford’s of Maine. Click Ice Cream for the current flavors!
The Scoop has made to order ice cream cakes in 8”, 10”, and 12”. All cakes are customizable with the birthday gal/guy’s favorite ice cream flavors. The cakes are made on an Oreo cookie base layered with fudge in between the ice cream, topped with frozen whipped cream and decorated with sprinkles or nuts. To die for!!! The scoopettes need 72 hrs lead time to create such a frozen masterpiece.
Created in 2009 by the infamous Johnny D, the Scoop Challenge is not for the faint of heart or stomach. Challengers have to consume 10 scoops of ice cream, all the wet toppings, all the dry toppings, whipped cream and a cherry within 20 minutes. The rules are simple: one brave soul and no vomiting!! For accomplishing the Mount Everest of ice cream challenges, the Scoop King or Queen receives a $20 gift certificate, a sweet Scoop t-shirt, their picture on the wall of fame and bragging rights throughout the Berkshires. No guts, no glory!!!
The Scoop is the only place in Lenox offering coffee drinks brewed from Barrington Coffee, brewed in Lee. We serve hot and cold coffee drinks made any way you are in the mood for, teas from Harney and Sons, and a selection of many other beverages. Whatever you want to wet your whistle, The Scoop has it.
